  It's not often we say - stick to the instructions. Because this item is perfectly done, so no need to mess about. Still surprised why this little gem hasn't taken over the country's palate but for us at Simple Delights - this is a winner!.  Kabayaki is the preparation of fish, eel, where the fish is split down the back (or belly), gutted and boned, butterflied, cut into square fillets, skewered, and dipped in a sweet soy sauce before being grilled (or broiled) Instructions We recommend that you remove the fish (once defrosted) from its packaging and wrap it in foil first before baking it the oven at 180°C for 8-10 minutes. Then simply cut into small squares and serve on steamed rice. Or you could boil from frozen. Simply place the frozen eel in its packet into boiling water for 5 minutes. That is all. Remove and put on steamed rice. Simple.
