Description

Soba are one of the three most commonly eaten noodles in Japan (along with udon and ramen). 'Soba' means 'buckwheat' in Japanese, and what separates soba noodles from other types of Japanese noodle is the inclusion of this ingredient. Soba has an earthy, slightly nutty flavour that works well with fresh, herby flavours and seasonings.  How To Use • Bring 1 litre of water to a to a boil in a saucepan. Place 100g of soba in the sauce pan and boil for approximately 5 minutes. Adjust the heat based on your preference for hardness of noodles.• Drain the soba noodles through a sieve and run through cold water to cool.
