Ingredients

  • Vermont Curry Mix (Mild) 230gms
  • La-Yu (Hot Sesame Oil) 33gms
  • Wafu-Dressing / Goma (Soy Sauce & Sesame Oil Dressing) 150gms
  • Furikake Noritama (Rice Seasoning) Blue Series 25gms

Directions

  1. Other basic items required are 2 cups cubed vegetables (potatoes - carrots - broccoli florets) - 1 medium onion cubed or sliced and 3.5 cups water.
  2. Heat oil in a pot and add onions to it and saute on medium heat till it gets translucent.
  3. Add all the other cubed vegetables and saute till the surface starts getting cooked. Add the water and turn the heat up to allow it to boil and then turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for a few minutes or till the vegetables are almost cooked.
  4. Break the Vermont curry mix roux along the lines into smaller cubes and add them into the pot and gently stir till it it dissolves.
  5. Adjust the consistency of the sauce by adding more water. It should not be too thick as it will thicken more as the curry cools. Turn the heat off. Serve this curry with cooked rice and over torpedo prawns or chicken cutlets.
  6. Add the furikake blue sachet mix on top of the rice for that extra kick.
  7. Smile and Enjoy.
